i miss...

I miss waking up to the sound of the static from the television, and while still drowsy; sitting up to watch the morning cartoons.

I miss sitting still while my mom tugged strands of my hair to braid them neatly and accessorize it with pretty butterfly clips.

I miss going to parks when it was still early morning, and air was chilly and there were just one or two other people there aside from us.

I miss hanging upside down on the supposedly pull up/push up bars and seeing everything upside down.

I miss looking forward to recess to eat the packaged meal my mom prepped early in the morning.

I miss standing in line to get my kfc meal box or even vitagen.

I miss watching Sesame Street outside the physiotherapy room as my mom got the candle therapy for her hands.

I miss being able to skip class because i was called for a scaling procedure (yes I like the dentist chair).

I miss screaming out my lungs as I cheered for my house during sports day, especially during the tug of war section.

I miss having classes in the computer lab and secretly play the dinosaur game while pretending to play attention to class.

I miss attending camps and programs and getting up super early for the morning exercise.

I miss everything before now.

I miss being a child and a teenager.
